Katie Price supports Alex Reid at his big fight

She was determined to support her husband Alex Reid when he took on Tom 'Kong' Watson in the biggest fight of his career.

But Katie Price's presence at Birmingham's National Indoor Arena wasn't enough to stop the 35-year-old cage fighter from getting a beating, and emerging from the BAMMA 4 Middleweight Championship match with a black eye.

And while Reid eventually lost the fight, he was praised for the perseverance and dedication which saw him progress to the last round of the competition.




However, Alex didn't come out of the fight unscathed, and showed off an incredibly painful-looking black eye as he came out of the ring to be greeted by his glamour model wife ringside.

Eager to help Alex after his injury, Katie, who was dressed in tight shiny black leggings and black vest top, rushed over to take a closer look at the bruise and see in which way she could help.

During the fight, Katie appeared to be finding it difficult to watch her husband taking such a beating, and was spotted with her head in her hands and wincing as she sat with friends including her brother Daniel.


And the mother-of-three was clearly proud of her husband's performance, writing on her Twitter page this afternoon: 'I'm sure you all agree alex proved himself xx'

Before the fight, Alex poked fun at his cross-dressing alter-ego Roxanne as he was escorted to the ring by a group of men dressed in women's clothing.

Clad in a short satin black robe with the letter R emblazoned on the back, Alex then took off the dressing gown to reveal a tight pair of camouflage shorts which he wore for the entirety of the fight.


Ahead of the fight, British middleweight champion Watson had said he was certain Alex would lose the match.

He said: 'I want to make a point to him. I cannot understand how people are afraid to fight for their career.

'If I can't beat Alex Reid how am I then going to talk about fighting the big names? I don't think Alex is under pressure for his career - if he loses, he's not that big a star anyway.'


Alex, whose nickname is The Reidinator, is now planning to enjoy two weeks off before he starts shooting his new TV show.

And while he has not revealed any details about the programme, Alex admitted he is 'terrified' about it.

He said: 'After the fight, I have a two-week break, then I get stuck into filming for my new show.

'I can't tell you too much about it yet but what I will have to do is bloody scary - and believe me - I'll be earning my money.'

Katie Price really is her own worst enemy sometimes.

If her current and ex-boyfriend brawling at her New Year's Eve party wasn't bad enough, she now faces a even more fraught custody battle over her children.

Her ex-husband Peter Andre, with whom she has daughter Princess Tiaamii, two, and four-year-old son Junior, is reportedly furious that they were present at the drunken and violent bash.
The singer has allegedly threatened to consult his lawyers after pictures emerged of the young siblings looking tired and confused at the party at 31-year-old Katie's Surrey mansion.

The snaps showing the children have not been published by any news outlet in order to protect them.

The photographs were posted by some of her guests on their Facebook pages even though Katie made everyone sign a confidentiality agreement not to, as her TV show had the exclusive.
Andre, 36, was already livid over the reports that Reid, 34, and former pop star Dane Bowers got into a fight, which, it has now been reported, was allegedly fuelled over Bowers objecting to the way the children were treated.

Bowers, 30, apparently launched a verbal attack on Katie and Reid, shouting: 'Why are you letting the kids be up well past midnight?'

And as the fight broke out, Tiaamii and Junior were reportedly sleeping nearby.

Andre is also angry after Katie refused to let him take their two children to Australia to see in 2010 with his family.

He has now reportedly launched a legal battle against her in an attempt to stop the children being exposed to Kate’s partying lifestyle, and may seek new advice on custody arrangements.

A source said: 'The children are Pete’s top priority. He’s not happy about what’s happened and will do everything he can to protect them.
'Peter is absolutely furious. He can’t believe anybody would go off like that with kids in the house. Little children should not be exposed to this and they shouldn’t even have been there.

'They should have been enjoying themselves in Australia with their dad. Peter's heartbroken they aren't with him in Australia. It is hard enough for him missing them without having to hear about the violence.

'What sort of a mum stops her children from going on holiday with their dad and then keeps them at a party? It’s not the sort of place little ones should be.'

But a source close to Kati insisted last night that both children were tucked up in bed by the time the fight took place.

They said: 'It was a family party and there were lots of children there with nannies to look after them.

'Princess and Junior enjoyed themselves and were in bed long before the fight so knew nothing about it.'

The Peterborough United player is currently on loan to QPR, and made his debut for the team last night in West Bromwich, while his wife was partying.
The pair married earlier this year on Living TV show Four Weddings, a show which pitched four rival brides against each other for the chance to win a dream honeymoon.

Nicola triumphed against Sandra Dickinson, Phil Turner and East 17's Terry Coldwell in the title of best wedding.

And she also stars in her own reality show with her family, Nicola McLean: Studs & Stilettos, which is broadcast on ITV2.
The pneumatic blonde is also famous for her rivalry with fellow glamour model Katie Price.

Nicola has befriended Jordan's ex husband Peter Andre - they both share the same management - with whom she attended last night's party.

The friendship has angered Katie Price. Nicola has described Katie as 'vile' and a 'stupid' while Katie has claimed that she is trying to imitate her.

Katie Price chose a live TV interview on I'm A Celebrity to dump her cagefighter boyfriend. So their reunion date was never likely to be a private affair.

True to form the glamour model and her man joined the audience of the biggest show in Britain - the X Factor.

And just in case anyone missed them they went backstage to mingle with the crowd of journalists and celebrities at the bar.
Katie had earlier made a point of stressing that she and Alex were just friends.

She wrote on her Twitter page: 'On way to ex factor with my FRIENDS melodie alex an max can't wait ...wonder who will win excited xx'

As they arrived for their date at Fountain Studios in London the pair made a show of being alone, despite sharing a car.

Reid climbed out first and hid in McDonalds, while Katie made her red carpet entrance. Once inside they visited Simon Cowell in his dressing room.
The X Factor boss is an old friend of Katie's, and she was one of the guests at his all-star 50th birthday party earlier this year.

At a backstage bar, Katie told the Daily Mirror: 'We’re just seeing how it goes. I don’t care what anyone else thinks – it’s up to me who I go out with.'

The pair were seen dancing to JLS and Alexandra Burke, and kissing and holding hands.

They shared a bottle of champagne, with Alex resting his hands on Katie's shoulders and keeping her by his side.

It was a different story when they split, with Katie accusing Reid of selling stories about their relationship.

The 31-year-old, who has made a career out of publicising her private life, said she had told Reid not to talk to the press.

He had flown out to Australia to propose to the mother-of-three, and was said to be devastated when she refused to even acknowledge him.

But it seems he has been forgiven - at least for now.

Hollywood Actress Katie Price returns to jungle for a second stint on I'm A Celebrity to 'give her side of the story'

Model Katie Price is gearing up to appear in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! for a second time - becoming the first ever star to return to the jungle.

The glamour girl has decided to return to the Australian bush because she wants the public to see the real her - and after agreeing a deal for £350,000.

Ms Price believes that going back into the jungle will help her regain the initiative in the ongoing PR battle with ex-husband Peter Andre.

Explaining her decision, Ms Price told a friend: 'It will help me communicate with the public directly and not through third parties.'

The figure Price is to receive represents a record amount for any contestant. ITV are to formally announce the full line-up for this year's series tomorrow.

A TV source revealed: 'She is ratings dynamite. She has always been hugely popular on ITV and she's seriously outspoken. And with the break-up of her marriage being so high profile, her appearance - and her comments - are sure to be explosive.'
It is believed that Ms Price, who has commitments in the U.S. when the show starts on Sunday, will be flown into the jungle after the other contestants, arriving unannounced for maximum impact.

MailOnline first told last week how ITV bosses were hoping to entice Jordan into the jungle.

At the time, she turned down the offer, then demanded £450,000 but now appears to have changed her mind.
She will be the first contestant to re-enter the jungle, where she will be expected to camp without home comforts and take part in a series of challenges which usually involve swimming through infested rivers and eating horrible bugs.

Her last appearance on the show in 2004 proved compelling viewing as the nation watched her and Andre's growing friendship.

She paraded around the jungle in a white bikini, a fairly transparent tactic usually adopted by the curviest contestants.

She was voted out and arch-rival Kerry Katona went on to win that year.

After the show finished, she and Andre embarked on a real-life romance and married in 2005. Their first child, Junior, was born the same year. Their second child, Princess, was born in 2007.

Having caught the bug for reality television, the pair began to live their lives on screen and their fly-on-the-wall series, which followed their lives both in the UK and the U.S., became one of ITV2's most watched programmes

This year, though, the couple announced they were splitting after almost four years of marriage, leading to a bitter public break-up.

It is not known whether she had to secure Andre's agreement to go back on the show or whether she plans to leave her three children with her cagefighter boyfriend Alex Reid.

Price will be up against another ex-Page 3 model on the show, former 1980s Page 3 star Sam Fox, who is rumoured to be netting around £60,000 for the show.

Ex-footballer Colin Hendry, snooker player Jimmy ‘Whirlwind’ White, Mis-Teeq pop star Sabrina Washington and TV presenters Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan are also taking part.

Former Strictly Come Dancing dancer Camilla Dallerup, ex-soccer hardman Vinnie Jones, former Coronation Street actor Bruce Jones, ex-WAG Lizzie Cundy and former EastEnder Robert Kazinsky - who played Stacey's brother Sean in the soap - are also tipped to appear.

Interior design TV presenters Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan are renowned for their frequent bickering, fussiness and tantrums on screen and are expected to liven up the show.

The pair have also been a couple for 22 years and married in a civil partnership last year in London.

They are reportedly being paid £65,000 each to appear in the three-week show.

Last night, former EastEnder Lucy Benjamin, whose greatest claim to fame is shooting Phil Mitchell on EastEnders, and Kim Woodburn, from How Clean Is Your House?, were also both seen at the airport today and are also believed to be flying out to Australia for the series.

Her alter ego Jordan made her name from the lack of clothes she wore, and as Katie Price her spectacular array of outfits have courted attention for their in-your-face garishness.

However, in defiance of her critics, Katie Price is set to release her Standing Out guide next week, featuring an in-depth look at her changing wardrobe over the years and step-by-step advice on how to recreate some of the former glamour models most famous guises.

Never one to shy away from the limelight, Katie offers tips on how to achieve the 'Jordan' look - platform stripper heels with ankle socks and Wonderbra a must - as well as choosing the perfect wedding dress, a make-up masterclass and plastic surgery advice.

You may wonder what Katie is doing writing a style guide, and even the author herself makes it clear in the introduction that readers may draw the same conclusion, so perhaps it is more of a statement on how not to dress.

Whatever your opinion it certainly makes for an entertaining read as the guide takes us through the the outlandish outfits which have been just as colourful as Katie's private life.

So in celebration of the 'style icon' grab your sequined hotpants and fake tan as we take a look back at Katie's trademark wardrobe over the years...

In the book Katie shares 'My ten style commandments' with her fans. Here we see what we can learn from the horse-loving model.

1) Make sure you match.

Katie's obviously escaped the recession: 'I even choose my diamonds to make sure they co-ordinate with my look. For example, if a ring's got a pink stone in it I wouldn't wear it with a blue outfit.'

It's not a concern that worries most of us, but Katie is quick to reassure any worried fans that she has a solution.

'Luckily my big diamond ring goes with everything, but it's usually in our safe at home and even I don't know how to unlock it! Besides, it's not practical to wear it all the time because it's so bloody big.'

2) Don't be afraid of colour.

Just glancing at this page will show Katie is pretty fearless when it comes to colour - especially pink.

'I usually wear bright colours as I like to have a happy aura,' she reveals. But there are times when she resorts to black. 'If I've put on a bit of weight or feel bloated - I always turn to black clothes for their slimming effect.'

3) Grooming - it's not just for horses.

No, grooming is also for Katie Price. 'If I've chipped a nail - oh my god, I just wouldn't feel happy leaving the house.'

4) Keep it comfy...

She may be famed for her skin-tight, revealing outfits, but Katie is a normal girl at heart. And she wants her friends to feel relaxed too.

'Whenever friends come round my house I like them to be comfy too, so I'll ask them to bring their pyjamas or trackies and get changed when they arrive.

5) ...But suffer to be stunning.

She might be newly divorced, but Katie's wedding is still on her mind.

'At my wedding I wore three huge hairpieces to walk down the aisle. It was bloody heavy, I can tell you, but it was well worth it for the effort.'

6) Don't be a slave to fashion

How does Katie make sure she stands out? Think sparkles - and scissors. 'I'll always customise an outfit with diamante studs or cut it up to make something completely unique.'

7) Never worry about the weather - or what other people think.

'In my head it's always warm and sunny - the central heating is always on full blast at home anyway.'

8) Confidence is key.

It seems even fat girls can look good - as long as their nails are immaculate, that is.

'I look at shapely girls like J.Lo and Beyonce and think, if I were that big I wouldn't have the balls to wear something so revealing. But they are obviously so confident and comfortable with themselves they just look fantatsic and sexy.'

9) Don't forget to look in the mirror - from all angles!

You may think this is advice Katie could do with, but it seems she meant to look like that.

'There's been confident, and then there's been deluded,' she reveals.

'These women probably think people are staring at them because they're looking hot, whereas what they're actually thinking is, Bloody hell, how horrific are those stretch marks? You've got to be realistic.' Indeed.

10) You don't have to splash the cash to look good.

This may sound a bit rich from someone who co-ordinates their diamonds, but Katie really means it.

'These days the high street is so good you can look fabulous on a tight budget,' she advises.

Mind you, it's easier when you don't have to.

'The other day I spent seventeen grand on Versace bedding at harrods. It was ridiculous. I just thought, Well I better have the best f-ing sleep ever.'

But the glamour model was snapped yesterday with deep wrinkles under her eyes at an equestrian event in Birmingham.

Katie, 31, claims she doesn't care, but recent events including her very public divorce from Peter Andre are clearly affecting the star's looks.
Photographs show Katie, who was attending the event with cage fighter boyfriend, Alex Reid, with deep crow's feet which were clearly visible, even under her makeup.

Perhaps her acrimonious divorce with Peter Andre is taking its toll on the high maintenance reality television star?
According to reports, Katie has also warned her new man to come out over his double life, or face being dumped, following the release of pictures showing Reid dressed as a woman.
The cage fighter had feared that Katie was trying to engineer a way to dump him by painting him as a freak, however the model publicly denied claims she is set to finish her relationship with Reid, bluntly saying: 'We are still very much together.'

Despite the show of unity, it seems that maintaining her relationship with Reid is not always easy.
