Jodie Foster split from her long-term lover because the actress was having an affair, a new report has claimed. Jodie Foster recently separated from Cydney Bernard her life partner and lover after fourteen years together. it has been alleged from reports that Jodie may have been seeing another woman named Cindy Mort. The report claims that Cynthia Mort and Jodie Foster met on the set of her 2007 movie 'The Brave One'.Foster and Bernard were together for 14 years. Cydney Bernard is reportedly "devastated" after discovering 45-year-old Jodie was romancing producer and screenwriter Mort, 51. Though there were always reports that they were together it was never really clear if Jodie and Cydney were a couple.
But that seemed to be laid to rest recently when Jodie thanked "my beautiful Cydney who sticks with me through all the rotten and the bliss" when she accepted the Sherry Lansing Leadership Award at the 16th annual Women in Entertainment Power 100 breakfast recently. Cindy has two children with her ex-partner, actress Melanie Mayron, who she remains close friends with. The pair live a few doors down from one another on the same street in Los Angeles.
