Pamela Anderson looks a little worse for wear as she holds on to a friend for support after a post-pantomime dinner

Pamela Anderson looked bleary-eyed and a little bedraggled as she left an upmarket London restaurant last night.

The former Baywatch beauty, 42, was snapped holding on to her unknown companion for support as she made her way out of the Automat brasserie in Mayfair.

And never normally one to shy away from the camera lens, Pamela kept her head down and covered her face as she climbed into her waiting car and sped off to her hotel.
Pamela, who is currently starring as the Genie of the Lamp in the New Wimbledon Theatre's production of Aladdin, looked a little unsteady on her feet, which were clad in red peep-toed stiletto heels.

Either she had been enjoying some post-show wine with her meal or it could just be that the daily two pantomine shows are taking their toll.

Whatever the reason, she seemed embarrassed to show her face as she got into her car at 1am and made her way back to her hotel to get a good night's sleep.
Earlier she stopped to sign autographs for eager fans who had patiently waited in the freezing cold for their pin-up to leave.

Pamela is starring in the pantomine until December 27, including performances on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day, before handing the genie mantle over to former Eastender Anita Dobson.
Although only on the stage for 15 minutes, Pamela has still managed to receive high praise for her performance, but maybe that's got something to do with the skimpy outfit she wears on stage.
In tribute to her role as CJ Parker in Baywatch, the role that shot her to stardom, the panto's producers designed her a Baywatch-red Lycra two-piece with red gloves and headpiece - and three capes decorated with 20,000 Swarovski crystals worth £5,000.

She makes her entrance to the panto on a glitter surfboard which descends from the ceiling which has so far given her a rapturous greeting from the audience every time.

She said: 'My costume is so fun. It is a little burlesque which I like, the entrance is fun, grand and dangerous - just how I like it.

However, one man doesn't seem too amoured towards Miss Anderson - her co-star Brian Blessed.
The veteran actor, who stars as the villain Abanazer, wasn't very complimentary towards her as he arrived at the theatre earlier this week.

Hamming it up for the waiting press by pretending to be drunk as he staggered into a wall, he said: 'Pamela ****ing Anderson? I've starred alongside Sophia Loren. What the **** is all that about Pamela Anderson?'
