Naomi bans hospital staff from entering her room

Naomi Campbell has reportedly banned staff from entering her Brazilian hospital room. The supermodel, who underwent an operation to remove a cyst from her stomach at Sao Paulo’s Sirio Libanes Hospital on Monday, was said to be furious after doctors discussed her condition with the media.

The catwalk beauty now won’t let anyone into her private room and has also ordered her phone to be cut off to protect her privacy.

Staff at the hospital said Naomi, famous for her diva-like behaviour, was “in no way courteous” to them when she barked her orders, according to Brazilian newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo.

Naomi’s boyfriend, wealthy Brazilian businessman Marcus Elias, is thought to have been constantly by her side since the operation.

The 37-year-old model, who is currently on a post-operation liquid diet, will remain in hospital until next weekend.

Josi Aristodemo Pinotti, the doctor who operated on Naomi, said of the beauty’s treatment, “I’m not authorised to reveal what Naomi had, not even how serious the condition, but I can say she was operated on and is completely cured.

“It was an emergency operation but everything went well. There were no incidents or any problems that worried me during the surgery.”

“Following the successful procedure, she is now resting and is looking forward to getting back to work. She would like to thank the doctors who have kindly looked after her,” E! Online quoted the model’s publicist, as saying. The hospital, which is one of the best in Brazil, said Campbell had been admitted on Sunday night.

The couple's burgeoning romance appears to be going so well - he's met her parents.

R&B star Brown, 18, has accompanied Rihanna, 20, on her homecoming trip to her native Barbados following her Grammy win earlier this month.
Following their Bajan trip, the couple travelled to neighbouring Jamaica together on Friday, for Rihanna's performance at the Smile Jamaica Africa Unite Bob Marley on Saturday.

After months of denials, the couple's relationship is finally out in the open after they were photographed kissing in a swimming pool at the Hilton Kingston Hotel in the Jamaican capital.

A fellow hotel guest said: "They were smooching in the pool. They were playfully making out and he was kissing her on the neck."
At a special Rihanna tribute concert in Barbados last week, Brown sat beside Rihanna's father Ronald Fenty, who has given his blessing to the new couple.

Fenty said: "He's a very nice guy. They were very happy and relaxed and having fun."

The stars were first romantically linked last year when Brown re-worked her megahit track Umbrella as Cinderella Under The Umbrella.

In September, Brown admitted he had a crush on the pretty singer, but insisted they were just friends.

He said: "I might have flirted a little bit with her. But we're just friends. We're great friends. We haven't taken it to that next level yet..."

However, they further fuelled rumours of a romance when were spotted in New York and New Jersey last month, and Brown helped Rihanna celebrate her Grammy for Best/Rap Sung Collaboration for Umbrella.

Angelina Jolie wants to raise her unborn baby in France as a tribute to her late French-Canadian mother.The 32-year-old actress - who is expecting her second biological child with partner Brad Pitt - wants to move her family abroad before she gives birth this summer.

Angelina, who also has three adopted children with Brad, has been seriously thinking about the dramatic lifestyle change ever since her mother Marcheline Bertrand died of ovarian cancer in January 2007.

Troubled pop star Britney Spears caused a ruckus at a trendy LA shop this weekend after she walked out wearing a 100 (Rs 7,753) top she hadn’t paid for. The singer was doing a spot of shopping at the exclusive Fred Segal store in Melrose Avenue with 25 aides and bodyguards when the incident occurred.

Britney’s awaiting entourage, including bodyguards and friends, then argued with the store’s staff and with cops and fans. But pals of the 26-year-old Toxic singer insist Britney simply forgot to pay for the long-sleeved vest. She was not arrested.

Britney was recently released from Los Angeles’ UCLA Medical Center, where she was on psychiatric hold.

With greasy black hair, Spears, who’s currently locked in a bitter custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline, had spent Saturday afternoon shopping in a leopard-print top and jeans.

But she emerged from the hip store wearing a black top.

An onlooker said, “Britney seemed to be in a daze. She rushed around looking at coats and bags and then left with her gang of 25 people.

“The staff were just staring at each other, then said ‘I think she’s taken a top’. There was chaos outside with fans and police.”

This isn’t the first time Britney has been accused of stealing - she allegedly swapped a disposable lighter from a garage last December and a wig from a sex shop last year.

Meanwhile, supermodel Heidi Klum has invited Britney to live with her. The 34-year-old model, who is married to singer Seal, says she wants to help Britney get her life back together. “She can call me and come live in our house with us for a couple of months,” Klum said.

“I would help set her straight. I am sorry when a young person gets thrown so off track,” she said in an interview to be aired on German television.

Harry Potter star Emma Watson has laughed off rumours she is dating rocker Johnny Borrell after the pair were spotted leaving a star-studded party together.

The actress - who plays Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter franchise - was linked to the Razorlight frontman after the pair posed for photographers outside the Vanity Fair and Burberry Portraits party at the National Gallery in London on Monday (11Feb08).
Subsequently, the 17-year-old was spotted sharing a cab with the British rocker, 27, to another fashion party thrown by designers PPQ.

However, the rising star is shocked by the assumptions, and jokes she should create new romance rumours by getting snapped with other famous men - namely Orlando Bloom.

Writing on her official website's blog, the actress says: "I met Johnny Borrell who is modeling for Burberry at the moment and went on to PPQ in the same cab.

"I'd never met him before so that was great as I'm a big Razorlight fan. But goodness, I am really going to have to watch who I stand next to from now on! "Maybe I should stand next to Orlando Bloom and then we can be said to be dating."
