Recently we looked at the astrological chart of Zac Efron to learn more about this rising young star. Today we take a peek into his relationship with Vanessa Hudgens. Do they have what it takes to make their relationship last? Or are they too young to be so serious?
With his Moon in Virgo, Zac Efron is shy and somewhat cautious about expressing his feelings, but Venus in his chart is in Scorpio and conjuncts Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio, which shows that his relationships (Venus) and feelings for his loved ones are intense and passionate (Pluto/Scorpio). As a Libra he is in love with being in love, but he is not one to dabble in casual affairs. This intensity can border on the obsessive and make relationships somewhat difficult for him, particularly as such a young person. Vanessa is a Sagittarius with a light-hearted spirit, but she has an intense side to her as well. Venus in her chart is in Scorpio so she shares Zac's passionate and intense approach to love, but Venus in her chart is opposed by Jupiter, which suggests that she will have many love affairs rather than settle down early. Both Zac and Vanessa have a tremendous faith and optimism which will serve them well in their careers but which also gives them a hunger for experiences that could prevent an early commitment of a serious nature. They both have signatures in their chart which suggest that despite their need for passionate closeness they also both have extremely independent natures. It is often difficult to combine these two opposing dynamics in one chart, and the Scorpio part of their personalities can be jealous and possessive. This could lead one of them to flee the pressure of the relationship.While Zac's career has been fueled more by luck, Vanessa with her four planets in the hard-working sign of Capricorn has been working towards this goal for much of her life. She has been trained in piano, dance and voice and sings opera, but wants to study business in college. She is very much geared towards success, which is likely one of the primary driving forces in her life. Transiting Saturn, the planet of restriction and limitation, is making a challenging aspect (square) to her Venus right now which makes this a difficult time for her to be in relationship. If she and Zac make it through this month they will have another challenge next year when transiting Pluto enters Capricorn early next year and begins working on those Capricorn planets in Vanessa's chart. Pluto creates change and transformation and her life will not be the same!Zac and Vanessa are very compatible in so many ways astrologically - they excite each other and have a very romantic connection. There is a tremendous amount of love here and sexual attraction as well due to complementary interactions of the planet Mars, which rules our drives. If they were two ordinary teenagers, the intensity of their relationship would likely dirve the two apart. In Hollywood, the excitement of their individual careers may be just the thing that gives them the breathing room they need.
