Naomi recently told revealed that it was Gianni Versace’s 1997 shooting that triggered her addiction. “That traumatised me…the way he was killed. I partied when I wanted to, burning the candles at both ends. It put me spiritually and emotionally on my knees.”It’s typical addict behavior to blame your addiction on someone/something else, but we still find it very sad that she would blame the murder of her friend to keep from admitting that she is not perfect.
