Angelina Jolie's French retreat

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have splashed out on a new home.

The couple - who are expecting wins in the summer - have bought a £35 million property on the French Riviera.
The 35-bedroom house boasts his-and-hers gyms, a Jacuzzi, sauna, billiards room and huge banqueting suite.

The mansion is surrounded by a dense forest, giving the couple and their children privacy, and the grounds also boast more than 20 fountains, olive tress and a lake.

A source revealed: "It's called Chateau Miraval in a village called Brignol, which is near from Aix-en-Provence and it's absolutely unbelievable.

"Brad and Angelina are thrilled, they love the place and have already been furniture shopping to fill the place as it's massive.

"They've already spent almost another million on furniture and the whole family can't wait to move in."

The couple are expected to move in within the next three months. They have been in France with their four children, Maddox, six, Pax, four, Zahara, three and Shiloh, 23 months, since last month and have been staying at family friend and Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen's villa.

Angelina wants to deliver her baby in France in honour of her late mother Marcheline Bertrand, who was of French-Canadian descent.
