Rumours are rife that troubled pop star Britney Spears is dating her drug counsellor John Sundahl. Spears, however, insists her relationship with Sundahl, a 38-year-old wealthy real estate developer recommended to Spears by someone at the rehab where she stayed, is only professional, reports newsweek.com. But people close to the singer claim that the two are romantically involved. “Sundahl’s smitten with Spears. I’ve never seen him act so ridiculous with a girl. He’s so in love with her that he’s risking his career just to keep her happy,” said a source. They had initially met to discuss therapy but it soon got intimate. The source added, “Spears and Sundahl ended up making out beside the pool and Spears acted like she didn’t care who saw her.” Speaking to a magazine Sundahl said, “I am not having a relationship with Spears.” But Spears’ mother Lynne seems to be thrilled with the relationship. A source says, “Lynne says this guy is exactly what Spears needs to turn her life around.”
