Naomi Campbell has settled an abuse lawsuit filed against her by a former employee. Amanda Brack, 21, claimed she had been physically and verbally abused by the supermodel while working for her for five months in 2005. Manhattan's Supreme Court announced "the action has settled and been discontinued". No details of the settlement have been disclosed. The allegations were first made in July 2006, when Brack accused Campbell of assault, battery, false imprisonment and infliction of emotional distress. Click here to find out more! According to Brack's lawyer Gerald McCarthy the abuse began a month after Campbell hired her in February 2005. Brack was hired after meeting the star in the bathroom of a Paris nightclub. Specific incidents of abuse reported in the case included incidents when Campbell hit Brack with her BlackBerry, slapped her repeatedly in the face after an item of Campbell's luggage was left behind, ripped up her passport in an angry spat, and pushed her around. In March this year, Campbell completed five days community service at New York's Sanitation Department after pleading guilty to throwing her phone at her former maid Ana Scolavino. The attack, which occurred when Campbell lost her temper over a missing pair of jeans, left Scolavino needing stitches to her head.
