Tori and Jolie’s doc connection

Tori Spelling simply loves being a new mom. However, she admits that having Jolie’s doctor on hand helped her get over the nervousness of giving birth 15 days earlier than expected. The Beverly Hills 90210 star, in an interview with Us Weekly, opened up about her experience of giving birth in its new issue. And, she admits that baby Liam, who was born on March 13 this year, gave her and hubby Dean McDermott a bit of a fright when he decided to come almost two weeks early. Spelling reveals that her doctor Jason Rothbart, who also happened to be Angelina Jolie’s Ob-Gyn, then had to induce labour, which lasted for 17 hours. However, when baby Liam’s heartbeat started to drop, Dr Rothbart told Spelling she would need to deliver the baby by Caesarean section. And, it was only when Dr Rothbart assured her that he had also delivered Jolie’s baby Shiloh the same way did the actress give him permission to go ahead. “I asked Dr Rothbart if he’d do a good job, and he said, ‘Well, Angelina didn’t complain’. So I was like, ‘If Angelina let him do a C-section in Africa, I am OK.’ I felt comforted by that,” she said.
