Spears Won't Get Personal on New Album

Anyone looking for candid songs about head-shaving and accommodations in the Promises rehab clinic on Britney Spears upcoming album will have to turn elsewhere. Word is that the CD is shaping up as a celebration of the female spirit.

That's according to Nate "Danja" Hills, one of Spears' main collaborators on her new project. "She didn't let none of her personal life into what she was doing," Hills tells MTV News. "There was no, 'I need to let it all out.' It's about feeling good, celebrating womanhood."

As for the sound of the album? Hills says to expect an uptempo dance record "It's fun, it's basic and there's nothing wrong with that. And if you don't dance to it, I really don't know what you're listening to."

Hills has worked on up to eight songs for the untitled album and is a frequent collaborator of Timbaland's. He began work with Spears last summer, well before her split from Kevin Federline and subsequent public meltdown and rehab stint.

Through all of the drama, Hills said that Spears was committed to her music career. "As far as her work ethic, I haven't seen anybody come in like that and do what you go to do. Boom, boom, boom, and get it done. So as an artist? She's ready to go."
