Rihanna Doubles Up By Topping U.s. Charts.

Rihanna Doubles Up By Topping U.s. Charts.... Rihanna has joined the ranks of the acts who have topped the U.S. and U.K. pop charts at the same time after taking her catchy new tune Umbrella to number one in America. The pretty Bahamian scored a second week at the top of the British charts earlier this week (beg28May07), and now she has rocketed to number one in America, with 277,000 digital sales - the highest debut week sum. Rihanna faced a tough challenge at the top, however - Party Like a Rockstar by Shop Boyz has jumped up from 52 to two on the new countdown. Maroon 5's charttopper from last week, Makes Me Wonder, slips to number three on the new chart, while rapper T-Pain's Buy U a Drank (Shawty Snappin') drops to four. American Idol winner Jordin Sparks scores the week's highest debut - her first single, This Is My Now, enters the chart at number 15. Idol runner-up Blake Lewis debuts at 18 with his version of Bon Jovi's You Give Love a Bad Name.
