Kanye West's Mum Approves Fiancee.... Kanye West's mother Donda has given her blessing to the rapper's forthcoming nuptials to Alexis Phifer, claiming his fiancee is an "outstanding young woman". The Gold Digger hitmaker proposed to Phifer last August (06) after a whirlwind romance, but are yet to set a wedding date. Donda admits she can't wait for Phifer to become her daughter-in-law and is thrilled her famous son has found his soulmate. She says, "I think she's a very outstanding young woman. "She's quite talented, very intelligent, very creative. Very sweet, thoughtful, generous. I can't think of one negative thing I would say about her, even in private! "The best thing that I love about her is that she loves my son. You can't beat that. "(They haven't set a date) because they're so busy travelling the world and having fun that they haven't had time. "I don't want to get involved in the wedding at all, except to be there. I assume it'll be well planned and very creative. It's going to be beautiful and an outstanding event, and what's going to make it great is that they love each other very much."
