Michael Jackson has been instructed to pay $175,000 (Rs 69.28 lakh)to his former lawyers for unpaid legal costs during his child molestation trial in 2005.The law firm Ayscough & Marar sued Jacko earlier this year because he did not pay up, but now they are making him pay for the costs of a lawyer they hired when they sued him the first time round. In total, the legal team had asked for $450,000 (Rs 1.78 crore) from the singer, but the court judge ordered him to pay only a fraction of that.Speaking after the case in a US court, Jackson’s lawyer Thomas Mundell said: “We’re very happy with the outcome.”However, two other lawsuits are being filed against the Thriller singer over unpaid legal costs which could in total wipe out $213,750 (Rs 84.62 lakh).
