Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Get Shut Down in Los Angeles


Do Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie hear the word no very often? Probably not as they travel the world when and where they wish and other than their recent box office struggles, their fame seems to open many doors for Brangelina. But a report from the National Enquirer claims that one was recently slammed in their face.This week the magazine reported that even Brad Pitt has to deal with rejection sometimes. Calling him "Hollywood's leading hunk," the weekly magazine reports that the architecture buff, recently took partner Angelina Jolie to see a classic Los Angeles home that he's long coveted.Enquirer reports: Even though Hollywood's Durant estate wasn't for listed for sale, Brad offered $8 million for the property on the spot, said a source. But the owner practically laughed in Brad's face and told him to forget it. "Brad was crushed," said the source.The 1923 home was the long-time residence of philosopher-historians Will and Ariel Durant and is considered one of the most stunning examples of Spanish Colonial architecture in Los Angeles. After getting over his setback, Brad decided instead to redesign his and Angelina's Los Feliz home to make it childproof and aesthetically gorgeous, said the source.
